Whether it's a basic course, junior sailing or official driving licenses - we'll accompany you on your first "steps" on the water or on the way to your sports boat license. All of our courses can be completed within a week - for the rest of your vacation you can then rent one of our boats and explore the Greifswalder Bodden independently.

For future master sailors
We have long been fascinated by the sea and look forward to introducing you to sailing! Our basic sailing course for participants aged 14 and over covers the basics of sailing: general theory, sailing skills, knots, laws and nature conservation are all part of the course. In practice, essential maneuvers are then practiced on the safe and sporty AIRA 22. These include mooring and casting off, tacking, jibing, man overboard maneuvers, right-of-way sailing and - for future dinghy sailors - a capsize exercise.
Our basic sailing course includes the VDWS basic license. The training lasts a total of 12 hours and takes place Monday to Thursday from 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m.
sailing courses for little sailors
Even little sailors aged 7 and over are welcome to learn to sail with us. The most important sailing basics are taught in a playful atmosphere. Our children's courses focus on topics such as wind recognition, mooring and casting off, courses on wind, tacking, tacking, jibing and behavior on and in the water.
The training for the junior sailing license lasts a total of 12 hours and takes place Monday to Thursday from 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. The training on Optimists and RS Tera dinghies can be completed with the junior sailing license.
We offer an advanced course for children who already have their junior license. This gives the youngsters the opportunity to expand on their basic knowledge and gain more experience in sailing. The 12-hour advanced training course takes place on Optimists. We will be happy to inform you of the exact course times on request.
Building on experience
We also cater for experienced sailors of all ages. Our advanced course focuses on the "small" details of sailing. The aim is to be able to operate more nimbly and to gain more routine.
The lessons last a total of 9 hours, divided into three units. The course times are flexibly adapted to the sailing school's weekly schedule - especially in summer.
Officially on the road
Sometimes it has to be official: The official sports boat license is the official license for independently navigating inland and coastal waters with a sailing or motor boat. Here at the water holiday world, you can acquire this license in just one week. After the 6-day intensive course, you can take the exam straight away - so the knowledge you have acquired is still particularly fresh. Unlike our sailing courses, we do not carry out the exam ourselves, but appoint an official examiner. Since there are only a few exam dates per year, you should register early.
