The tranquil natural harbor of Gustow and our waterfront houses are located on the southern coast of Rügen, just 9 km from the historic old town of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. On the other side of the Rügen Bridge is the seaside resort of Altefähr with its barrier-free beach.
Gustow can be reached via the old Rügen bridge (Ziegelgraben bridge) as well as the new Rügen bridge or by ferry. It is particularly nice to take the Glewitz ferry to Rügen - from Stahlbrode on the mainland, the White Fleet ferry takes you to Glewitz on Rügen. From there it is only 17 km to Gustow. This route takes you through small villages in the sleepy south of the island: via Puddemin with its small harbor and Poseritz, from where your journey finally takes you to Gustow.
