Maritime meets urban
The combination of maritime and urban experiences makes Bremerhaven something special. Right next to the Havenwelten is the city center with a lively pedestrian zone. The cultural center with theaters, the art gallery, cinemas, cafes and restaurants is also located here. A little further south of the city is the fishing harbor: here you can visit the aquarium and feast in many excellent fish restaurants. In the north of Bremerhaven is the sophisticated overseas port, where the large cargo and container ships dock.
But you are even closer to the next harbor: you will find our Lloyd Marina Bremerhaven right outside the door. So don't be surprised if you meet real sea dogs in our boarding house: the reception is also the harbor master's office. In addition to an anchorage for your boat, you will find many tourist attractions and innovative museums in the "Havenwelten".
Between the North Sea, Elbe and Weser
Cuxland is nestled between the North Sea, the Elbe and the Weser. Here you can find relaxation close to nature all year round: in the summer months you shouldn't miss the blooming heath and a swim in one of the numerous lakes, in autumn the fresh North Sea breeze is ideal for kite flying. And in winter, tobogganing from the dike or climbing ice floes in the mudflats are special experiences that you will certainly not forget in a hurry. It is also not far to Cuxhaven - there the idyllic beach promenade invites you to take long walks.
