Protecting the environment is a multifaceted challenge, and creating an ecologically responsible society requires a collaborative effort. We value our partnerships and everyone who is committed to this important cause, whether on a small or large scale, in practice or research.
We have entered into a partnership agreement with the WWF called “Nature Conservation in the Strelasund” to develop and promote rules of conduct for the responsible use of this sensitive and wonderful natural area.

We use our company as a real research site for experimental field studies to investigate the effects of corporate environmental protection measures on the environmentally relevant behavior of those involved. These studies are carried out in close cooperation with the Endowed Chair for Business Ethics and Sustainability at HSBA Hamburg and the Department of Innovation Economics at TU Berlin.
The Climate House and the German Climate Foundation are important partners for us, not only in Bremerhaven. As part of our booking arrangements, we invite our guests to visit the Climate House, where they are informed about the complexity and fragility of our climate system on a journey through various climate zones. We support the educational work of the German Climate Foundation with lectures on corporate sustainability management.
In our facility in Lauterbach on Rügen alone, we are home to over 200 breeding pairs of swallows, which is an impressive example of the successful coexistence of man and nature.
