compensation for sustainable operations

We have already made considerable efforts to make the operation of the im-jaich water worlds as environmentally friendly as possible. Nevertheless, a certain ecological footprint remains, which we address responsibly. We are committed to counteracting these effects with targeted measures.

corporate forest

As part of our partnership with Prima-Klima, a tree is planted in our own company forest when guests forgo intermediate cleaning in the hotel. In this way, we compensate for part of our ecological impact.

wild perennials

We have planted more than 5.000 wild perennials in our holiday resorts to create and maintain places of biodiversity.

facade greening

The greening of the facades our country apartments also contributes to the promotion of biodiversity on our site.

Climate-friendly overnight stays

Through our collaboration with Viabono, we offer certified climate-friendly Hotel accommodation in Bremerhaven and provide compensation for our ecological footprint.

flowering meadows

In cooperation with the Rügen Tourism Association, we have created over 1600 square meters of flowering areas on the grounds of the water holiday world to promote biodiversity.

Green roofs

We have already built 31 green roofs, including one that is home to two “company-owned” bee colonies whose honey we sell in our hotel.

Wasserferienwelt Rügen

The green roofs of the stilt house suites serve as breeding grounds for our seagulls and contribute to the conservation of this bird species.
With these measures, we are actively committed to compensating our ecological footprint and contributing to a more sustainable environment.
