Welcome to the home port of Langballigau

The Langballigau district port is considered the most beautiful gateway to the Danish island world - and rightly so! But you really want to stay forever, because the recreation and climatic health resort is good for both body and soul. When you dock in our home port of Langballigau for the first time, you will immediately know what we mean: peace and relaxation are still very important here. In keeping with our barbecue area, you can, for example, buy freshly caught goods directly from the local fishermen in the harbor. There are of course other shopping opportunities and recommended restaurants near the harbor to fortify yourself for the next trip. There is also a lot to discover on land around Langballigau: right next to the harbor there is an idyllic natural beach with beach chair rental and a dog beach. If you have your bikes with you, you shouldn't miss a little trip to the nearby nature reserve.

Landgang

Langballig, a recreational resort and, since 1988, a climatic health resort, is a perfect spot to unwind. Its natural beach, a protected valley with rare plant and bird species and a village that has already won several awards in the "Our Village Should Be More Beautiful" competition make it a small attraction.

Langballigau is the name of the harbor that was built around 1920 as a fishing shelter and is now a popular destination, especially for sailors. The center of Langballig and the Langballigau harbor are only two kilometers apart.

If you feel like feasting, you will find a selection of restaurants in the village. To satisfy your appetite for culture, we recommend the landscape museum in Unewatt, which also includes a mill - it is considered a symbol of what was once the village's main source of income.
