Between the beach and the old town

Landgang

The rare combination of four kilometers of pure sandy beach, a lively old town and an active harbor make up the special charm of Eckernförde Bay. Eckernförde offers optimal conditions for a carefree and active beach life on the Baltic Sea. Sailing, surfing, water skiing, diving, banana boating or diving in the water park with seawater wave pool and whirlpool: there is something for everyone here. If you don't feel like being in the water, you can also keep active with mini golf, in the fitness center, on the roller skating rink or on the skateboard facility.

If you want to get to know Eckernförde from its original side, you can of course also relax and watch the fishermen at the harbor, buy freshly caught fish at the fish market, visit one of the traditional smokehouses or stroll through the alleys and the weekly market, which takes place very close to our home port of Eckernförde.
